Popular Post snoop1130
A container carrying 25 tonnes of frozen chicken has parted company with the truck it was loaded on to, plunging from an elevated motorway to the road below. The incident happened in the eastern province of Chachoengsao and fortunately, no serious injuries were reported. According to a Nation Thailand report, the incident happened at around 8am on Sunday, January 21, on the Bangkok to Pattaya motorway in the district of Bang Pakong. It’s understood the truck driver, 23 year old Natthadanai Charamsri, was attempting to exit the motorway at the time. Police say that as the exit he was taking was elevated, the driver accelerated from the motorway in order for the heavy trailer to be able to make the climb. However, it appears he then lost control of the vehicle, hitting a bridge guard rail. I took my 3 HGV test at 18, in a frigging snow plough, blade removed terrible steering circle, had to do some reversing to drive round the zig zag cones. I think I could have taken class 1 after that. 40hrs (one week) with instructor and test following the Monday.
