Trump is dominating the primaries. That doesn’t mean he’ll beat Biden

New Hampshire showed Haley behind Trump by about 10%.

Trump's problem is his 50% are all rusted-on support base. The d!ckheads. The 40% voters Haley got are moderates, what Trump in typical fashion calls RINO's.

They are not going to hold their noses and vote for Trump if/when he gets the nomination. In the real contest, they will be defecting in droves to independents.

Some may even vote for Biden. How many Democrats do you think will vote for Trump?

IMO Trump knows he is losing, which is why he gets more shrill and desperate every day. If he does not win in 2024, jail is a slam dunk.

He’s so desperate he’s trying to tank a border deal to make Biden look bad along with more aid to Ukraine thankfully some republicans are calling him out on it.he must be beyond frustrated with the stellar stockmarket and gdp at 3.2% !

And thank God for that, because the deal currently being "tanked" calls for allowing 5,000 illegals in a day.  That's 1.8 million a year, not counting those that sneak in unhindered when that 5,000 is reached.

https://dailycaller.com/2024/01/24/senate-republican-josh-hawley-mike-lee-ted-cruz-border-deal-leak-proposal/

Of course, it's still a work in progress and there may be even worse things.  And the right is concerned that it will be proposed on a Tuesday, 500 pages thick, and brought up for a vote on Thursday...

But the Dems are scared <deleted> that he will, else they wouldn't spend so much energy trying to stop him. Imagine that, a lying crook like Trump scaring the Biden mob, I'd insert a laughing emoji here but they don't work any more.

New Hampshire results were skewed by the DNC decision not to accept any delegates from the NH primary.  That freed up thousands (tens of thousands?) of undeclared votes that normally would have been cast in the Dem primary.  Instead of wasting their vote on the Dem of their choice, they voted against the Repub they hated.

That's why, in a Blue state, around 120,000 votes were cast wasted in the Dem primary while over 315,000 votes were cast in the Repub primary.  And 70% of Trump voters were registered Repubs while 70% of Haley voters were registered undeclared.  Some of them were independents, but a lot of them were closet Dems, just voting against Trump.

Please stop with your imaginary numbers.

As I replied already before, only 4,000 dems changed registration last year in NH, for whatever reason. Haley got 139,469 votes. So even if your conspiracy theory is true, 4000 votes is peanuts and would not have significantly changed the result.

Ahead of primary, nearly 4,000 Democratic voters switch affiliation to Republican or undeclared

Dems aren't scared....but they are concerned.  Which is a good thing.  Better than being complacent.  They'll make sure to get the voters out.  Because just the possibility of a corrupt criminal like Trump being POTUS again will get every sane person to the polls.

We'll see in November then, shan't we?

Trump will win by a landslide and rescue America from the current fool in office.  Drill baby drill!  Secure the border!  And end the destruction of America by the Democratic Party.

Trump ran twice. Didn't even win the popular vote once.

A Trump landslide -- IMPOSSIBLE.

You're trippin'.

Which of those numbers was imaginary?

"(tens of thousands?)"

"Some of them were independents, but a lot of them were closet Dems, just voting against Trump".

It's not maybe tens of thousands, It's not a lot of those who voted as unregistered,  It's only 4,000.

so even if you assume they voted for Haley, it would certainly not explain the high number of votes for Haley, who got 139,469 votes. It represents less than 3% of the number of people who voted Haley.

We don't even know the tickets yet.

Trump's dementia is advancing rapidly and he may be in prison by then.

Biden is in much worse condition.  If you can’t figure that out you are part of the problem.

Trump winning is possble.

Trump winning by a LANDSLIDE is impossible!

He has his base and he doesn't grow it.
It will be either a very close election or Trump's rapidly advancing dementia and being a jail bird might make it a landslide for Biden.

Trump is too chicken to debate even Haley. He's fallen apart dramatically since his legal problems have become more real. He's a total wreck. Why anyone would want such a mentally unhinged person as president is beyond reason.

Come back when you find out how many "undeclared" voters are really closet Dems, who would have voted for Biden had the DNC not given them the finger.  And how many are closet Repubs that just don't want their liberal neighbors to know.  And how many are truly independents.

I agree. If it's President Biden vs. the twice impeached 91 felony charges dude, yes, either one COULD win.

It's a contest of democracy vs. fascism.

Yes America may vote in the end of American democracy, but there is still plenty of time to try to prevent that.

No, this is NOT hyperbole.

A second trump term? A NIGHTMARE.

Keep drinking the kool-aid.

We all know how those impeachments worked out!

Convicted of nothing.  Similar to Biden, Pelosi,  both Clinton’s and Obama.

And yet you voted for the corrupt current fool in office that can’t complete a sentence.
