There's no lack of regulations, only lack of enforcement.

The regulations say who can\can't smoke (under 20 years old, pregnant and nursing women) and that smoking in public places is not allowed. So if people smoke in public places they should be stopped. Simple enough.

Complaints by non-users of alcohol and tobacco and many other things are not taken seriously. So why should complaints about cannabis result in a ban for another few decades.  It was only made illegal under American pressure as a condition of aid.  Hardly any aid comes from the US now which is in the process of legalizing.

Complaints by non-users of alcohol regarding cannabis use, in my opinion are actually slightly more valid than complaints by those who do drink,  and at least 1000 times less hypocritical.  There are very few Teetotallers complaining on here about cannabis use or indeed about alcohol use.   I wonder why it is  that heavy drinkers are so vocally opposed to it all. 

          Perhaps they once made the unwise decision to try cannabis when they were already out of their mind from drink.  a common issue for drinkers who are renowned for making bad decisions when intoxicated , as the numbers convicted for DUI and anti-social behaviour  clearly illustrate. I doubt many pi$$ heads would  even try to argue against that , unless they are drunk of course. but for those full of drink inspired dutch courage (steven 100) bring it on I'm waiting

I've used weed daily for almost 50 years. I like alcohol, and psychedelics as well. I do not understand the demonization of ANY drug. If you can accept the carnage of alcohol, you can, most certainly, accept any other drug. If you are not entirely clean - I AM referring to fun prescription drugs, caffeine, supplements, etc, then SHUT THE FLICK UP.

sorry Bday, i'm just not a pot head ... I was taught what's right from wrong when I was young ...  and drugs ARE WRONG.

I' m certain the entire "pot head community" would agree to disagree if people would just wind their necks in.   As a starter , I promise not to post negatively about alcohol  or your consumption of it if you will do the same regarding cannabis.   That would be the very definition of agreeing to disagree.
