Two police officers and the mayor of a tambon administrative organisation (TAO) narrowly escaped injury when two improvised explosive devices, believed to have been pipe bombs, were thrown into a coffee shop at a petrol station in Thung Yang Daeng district of Thailand’s southernmost province of Pattani on Sunday.

 

District police suspect that southern rebels are responsible for the attack, intending to harm the two officers, Pol Lt-Col Veerawat Darongkoon, the suppression inspector, and Sobri Pohsu, mayor of the Nam Dam TAO.

 

 

 

 

Thung Yan Daeng police say that one of the rebels entered the coffee shop through the back door and lobbed the two pipe bombs into the shop. One of them exploded without hurting anybody. The intended targets fled in different directions.

 

The other device failed to detonate, as police believe that it was timed to explode later, when more policemen would arrive to investigate the first explosion.

Peace talks must be going well.

I still love living in this restive region alhamdulilah. Inshallah we will be fine and protected from harm during this holy month of Ramadan.

I want to say to terror sympathizers, instead of focusing on a war you can never win, focus on education.  Drone technology, which is developing day by day with artificial intelligence, will already bring the end of this game.  Very soon these tiny drones will be armed and hunting terrorists. Your war will not be with soldiers but with artificial intelligence.  Those who think they can win such a war are ignorant.  Get along well with the people you sprout in the same soil.

You think drones will be independently able to spot the terrorists among the regular population and to take them out on the spot? Keep dreaming.

Yes, the cameras can identify people now. Very soon drones will be able to make identification. In other words, they will be able to identify everyone on the red list of governments. I advise you to follow technology closely  😄

The only thing you forget to mention is that the use against terrorists is the least of concerns, they will use it on every day people, and your freedom will be gone forever.
