Tourism Thailand Acts to Boost International Tourist Safety Amid Decline
Yes , 350 Baht for a glass of gut rot . That’s 10 € . The food in restaurants is also not as good as before, everything tastes cheap quality. Zero money invested in needed infrastructure, pavements good enough for wheelchairs and prams , traffic lights that are respected and pedestrian crossings that don’t get you killed . Police that do their job instead of scamming you, clean roads, regulated taxis, and I could go on and on. Im sure someone will pipe up with “ if you want all that go somewhere else”. But that attitude gets you nowhere today. Money is short for Europeans and Americans. It’s a long flight to Thailand . If they’re not careful, they will only get zero $ Chinese , grubby Indian men and nasty faced Russians. Shame, Thailand has been my home away from home for 40 years . I decided 2 years ago not to come back. I did last year , I’ll see next winter. -

Crime Chinese Nominee Network Busted in Rayong Over Project Worth 2 Billion Baht
Fair play to the Thai authorities if this is how they want it. Stop these activities, for whatever reason. What will it achieve? More investment and benefit for Thais and Thailand? Doubtful. Or, less economic activity benefitting Thais and Thailand? More likely. Thailand needs to pick the best option for their people and economic prosperity. -

Kremlin outraged over UK's invitation to Ukrainian troops for Victory Day parade
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry criticised UK's invitation of Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen to the upcoming Victory Day military parade in the UK. "Of course, inviting followers of neo-Nazi elements to the Victory Day celebrations is a disrespect to those British veterans who gave their lives during World War II, to put it in Russian terms it is blasphemy," Dmitry remarked. Peskov's remarks regarding "neo-Nazi elements" have been widely dismissed as cynical and misleading, as Ukrainians played a pivotal role in the defeat of Nazism during World War II. Around 7 million Ukrainians fought in the ranks of the Soviet Army, while over 250,000 served in the armies of the Allies, estimates suggest between 5 and 7 million people from Ukraine perished in the war.
