A team of police went out to inspect entertainment venues in the early hours of Sunday 22nd July to see if the venues were respecting the rule of closing on time or not.

When they arrived at a famous pub on 3rd Road called 93 Miles Pub, they were glad to see that the venue was already closed. However, they came across some men who acted suspiciously so searched them and their vehicles to find that they possessed weapons.

The driver of a 325i BMW, Siriphol Phooket, aged 31, possessed a 9 mm Berretta loaded with 14 bullets. He stated that the gun had a correct license and said that it belonging to a friend.

As for the driver of a Audi A6 car, Patchaya Sainapha, aged 34, who is the son of a famous restaurant owner in Pattaya, he has been arrested for possessing a weapon many times before and this time was found possessing two loaded guns, being a black Glock 19 with 15 magazine bullets, a spare magazine, and a .45 (11mm) Kolt Combat Commander with 8 bullets. Patchaya confessed that both guns belong to him and they have licenses.

The men were escorted to the police station together with the weapons and their vehicles. Relatives were contacted to bring over the guns’ licenses and the men were charged for possessing the weapons in public for no good reason since the police feared that they might use them in public.

Pretty decent weapons, and enough ammo to do some damage.

This is another example not to upset Thais in Pattaya….they most prob had the weapons for personal protection>>>pricks

When will the authorities get real and ADMIT that there is a massive problem in Chonburi with both licensed and un licensed weapons

As these clowns were from “influential” families they will be told to go home & don’t do it again

:D
