Social Media
In response to rare phone talks between the French and Russian defence ministers, President Emmanuel Macron criticized Russia's remarks as "bizarre and threatening." The phone call occurred as France offered to increase exchanges with Russia to combat terrorism, particularly in light of France's preparations to host the Olympic Games in Paris this summer. During the conversation, Russia reportedly warned France about potential involvement of French secret services in a recent attack on a concert hall in Moscow, claimed by Islamic State group extremists. Macron dismissed these suggestions as "ridiculous" and characterized Russia's comments as unfounded and alarming. Macron emphasized that France had valuable information to share regarding the attack, refuting any insinuation of French or Ukrainian involvement. He denounced the dissemination of false information as a tactic employed by Russia and reiterated that such claims did not align with reality. 05.04.24 Source
Popular Post thaibeachlovers
Although I don't know much about the background to this, IMO it is somewhat bizarre that Macron, who was apparently wanting NATO troops to go fight Russians, now thinks Russia is going to co operate with him over security for the Paris games. Must be a somewhat "different" reality in Macron's bubble. 1 3

Naa he’s squared away and he’s really really close to the threat their country has suffered an occupation still in living memory by a country that acted much the same as Russia is acting now. 1 2
candide
This phone call was a mistake. They have been tricked by Russia and no different reaction from Russia should have been expected.

Must be a somewhat "different" reality in Macron's bubble. Disingenuously pleading ignorance. Here's the deal. Isis is solely responsible for the horrible terrorist attack in Moscow. Dictator Putin feeling vulnerable that Russians will see him as failing to protect their security predictably and falsely implicates Ukraine and the collective west with the attack for propaganda purposes. 2 2
