Nah

Does your Australia, no..........?  🤔

It is pointless asking you if you think Russians should get 60 days free, because we know you will say, yes................😂

Well it certainly better than having to degrade yourself lining up in a long queue in the sun under a pink umbrella.

Yeah walking round with beers from the 7/11 and then walking into bars to play pool for free without buying a drink and then protesting when thw bar owners ask them to buy a drink from the bar i probably spend more in a week than they do in a month.

Nonsense. Most of the Russians are here as couples or with families. They spend more in a week than you do in 3 months. Plus they're big buyers of condo, meaning they'll spend more in one day than you do in 20 years.

I spoke with some Thais on the Darkside in Pattaya yesterday evening about the influx of Russians. Some interesting takeaways:

1. Entire families are coming on tourist visas here to stay permanently

2. They work illegally and don't care as they need money to achieve No.1

3. Russians will likely use other Russian owned businesses thus no benefit to local community

4. They are on the run from the war

This is not my opinion, this was being discussed by Thais.

If you told a gullible Thai there will be a Total Eclipse tomorrow at about 10 O'clock they would believe it as they got told.

Nevertheless, they seem convinced of their opinions that Russians will be more trouble that they're worth.

No they don't but perhaps they should do so.

Dave Cameron was over recently discussing it.

Giving visa free entry to the UK will result in a great many Thais staying and working illegally.

Look at Singapore and South Korea as the examples. There's a reason it is difficult for them to get visas.

Well everyone else from around the world is at it so who really cares?

They reckon they need more people.

Also it's not my problem, they have border force who can sort out the miscreants.

What about the europeans ? Most western european countries all have compulsory health insurance by law covering also abroad for all their citizens.

Their retirees have good pensions and spending power also and most own homes in Thailand.

Why do they not get at least 6 months visa free stay ? Totally absurd immigration bureaucracy in Thailand that is loosing good money for the country and giving visa free stay to the wrong people.

It is certainly time they reviewed their policy of requiring Visas..... are Thais more likely not to go home these days if let in.....If they landed directly into my UK home town they would be on the first flight back!

Utterly ridiculous statement.

New Zealand gave visa free travel to Thailand many years ago, and was packed full of Thai's who would not go back.

For example, if the USA gave free visa travel to Thailand, you would see an exodus in Thailand on mass .

Where do you live?

II don't see the problem, most Russians spend money when they are here, you don't see them hanging around the cheap charlie bars looking for 50 baht beers at Happy hours,

We are entering low season here in Phuket is slowing right down, you can see it on the roads, I have spoke with a few people here and they are saying the same,

You never ever see them (Ruskies) sitting outside 7 drinking cheap beers all hours? Guess you don't get out much 🤡

Britain is packed out with immigrants anyway. A few Thais won't make any difference.
