The Pattaya Police were informed at 2.30 am of 25th July that a fight had occurred between two men in front of Soi 10, Pattaya Beach Road, and both parties were waiting for the police.

On arrival the police found 18 year old Niwet, with a head and eyebrow injury from a knuckle duster blow from 23 year old Uthai, so took both to the police station.

Niwet stated that he was walking along Beach Road, where he came across an attractive woman, so he talked to her; but suddenly disabled Uthai walked over and punched him numerous times with a knuckle duster.

Uthai then gave his side of the story of why he attacked the man. Uthai stated that it is not easy for a disabled man like him to get a girlfriend. Now that he has one, he felt pretty insulted seeing her talk to another man, so with anger hit Niwet.

Unfortunately, the girlfriend had fled the scene and now Uthai faces charges on intentionally attacking another person with a weapon.
