webfact Posted May 7, 2024 Posted May 7, 2024 Picture courtesy of thuethainews A Polish man was taken into police custody on the Pha Ngan Island of Thailand. He was allegedly conducting mental health workshops without the required legal permission. The Tourist Police and Pha Ngan Immigration authorities arrested the 46-year-old Mr. Subhadeep. The arrest was reported by District Chief Mr. Noppadon Khaomali to the Phuket Express. Authorities were tipped off about a 'Healing Self-Sabotaging Patterns to Manifest Your Heart’s Desires + Transformational Breathwork’ program run by Mr. Subhadeep. He charged participants between 900 to 1,200 Baht for each session. During questioning, Mr. Subhadeep disclosed that he held a work permit for an accommodation company where he served as a manager. Additionally, he revealed that another company had contracted him to administer the mental health course. He claimed to receive 70% of the revenues earned through this. Mr. Subhadeep was detained at the Koh Pha Ngan Police Station. The charges against him included having a work permit but failing to inform officials about his change in employment and job description within the legally stipulated 15-day period. -- 2024-05-08 Get our Daily Newsletter - Click HERE to subscribe 2

In general most of the Polish migrants were unskilled.

The UK now has 10 million migrants (overseas-born people)...and 9 million 'economically inactive' natives, so that's worked out well then. (Also 7 million on NHS waiting lists)😊 1 1
