The big question is the Russian counter-attack in Kursk.

Will the new Ukrainian advance in western Kursk impact the Russian plans?

Update:

We got another 1 or 2 villages but they are attacking some villages back.

Both sides have losts but russians has more.

They are like human wave.. dying and keep coming.

We also got some prisoners too. Including an african guy.

Lost 1 colombian friend when capturing a village.

Lost 1 of american stryker

Resting now but russians are droning and using arty on us.

About 10 villages russians got back... yes they got back some places but they are not villages.. they are places like 1 or 2km from a farm area or village like a silo & 1 or 2 houses areas. Or stock area. They say villages. They got back only 2 villages but last 2 days we got another 2 or 3 villages plus stopped their attacks. So far there is only 1 village they are trying to get back.

Expecting heavy fight today and coming few days.

Ps: another group of AFU crossed the border at south kursk and coming toward us to join and close the ring great news

Senior Russian official warns his country could reduce Kyiv to a 'giant melted spot' with a massive attack

https://au.yahoo.com/news/senior-russian-official-warns-country-110559899.html

Maybe so, but it is  true. Do we really want to see Ukraine reduced to rubble and hundreds of thousands, homeless before another brutal eastern european winter?  Do the Ukrainians have the will and strength to  sustain such damage? They would need a good reason to do so, such as the destruction of large areas of  Moscow or St. Petersburg.

You are correct. Both sides occasionally publish false reports as misdirection. It'll take a few days and more reports before we know the real story.

My point if you ever bothered to read my links is the dominant narrative oft punted here is ;

Putin is dying / will be deposed in a coup

Russia is running out of money , weapons and men and so one more push and he can be defeated any day now just keep on supporting the war. Of course if these "self-evident truths" are nothing such  then we are consigning Ukraine to total destruction as it were - to the last Ukrainian. Those relucutant consctipts are dying in droves or deserting in the Donbas short of weapons or training or air cover. Cursing war and rightly so whilst armchair generals seemingly oblivious to their suffering cheer onwards to victory. Is that plain enough ?

No, I don't bother to read the links people post here, and yes, we knew what you were actually saying were the usual Russian talking points.

You just want to see peace, right?

Is Russia really going to nuke another country -- and a neighbor at that?

Isn't it the decision of the Ukrainians, if they want to fight for their freedom or be turned into a vassal state by a dictatorship that hates them?
