Solar powered single CCTV camera with nightvision and SIM card

Featured Replies

There was a thread about this a few weeks ago but I'm damned if I can find it.

I need to install a single CCTV camera that is powered 24x7 by solar / onboard battery. It needs to have a night vision range of at least 50 metres, ideally at least 4k resolution and must be able to take a SIM card so that I can access it remotely.

A plus would be movement detection with proactive alerts (via email or whatever). This is for a remote piece of land that will have some valuable equipment stored on it (the equipment would take at least 30 minutes to steal) up until I've built something more permanent.

Anyone have any recommendations from an item that you've used yourself? I can see a shed load on Lazada, but some are likely to be useless.

Thanking you.

EDIT: Oh, also needs to be fully weatherproof and ideally with 180 degree or more field of view, with auto zooming / tracking of moving objects. Not asking too much... 😉

Check out Noorio products.

The one i have is not solar but a full charge will last for 3 months +, good quality pictures and motion sensors to record, can turn on alarm and speak thru it too.

Decent product IMO.

That looks an incredibly useful product.

I was looking for it some years ago.

Thanks guys.

We have a wired Reolink system. Good value and quality all ordered direct from their AliExpress store. They also offer solar simcard cameras which I would consider.

There is good online support community for Reolink products. Eg https://www.facebook.com/groups/reolink. Useful as these simcard solar cameras can be difficult when compared to a wired camera.
