Early yesterday morning, a serious accident occurred in Pattaya when a pickup truck hit a streetlight. The incident, which left the driver badly hurt, happened at 2.20am on Sukhumvit Road in the Banglamung district of Chon Buri province. Promptly, emergency crews and local media arrived at the scene after receiving reports of the accident.

On reaching the place, rescue officials found an overturned white Nissan Navara pickup truck in the median. Inside the capsized vehicle, they discovered a trapped man, who they believed to be in his 40s or 50s, severely injured. The rescuers quickly freed him before rushing him to Banglamung Hospital for medical attention. Based on the rescue team's observations, the driver seemed to have been drunk at the time of the accident.

Chaiwat Thodphakdee, a 20-year-old onlooker, narrated that the pickup truck was swerving and speeding prior to slamming into the streetlight. Chaiwat also suspected that the driver was drunk.

Currently, Pattaya police are probing the accident. They intend to carry out a blood alcohol test at the hospital to ascertain if the driver was indeed driving under the influence of alcohol.

This one might not be a Brit.
it is 50/50 I think at this stage.

I think the go faster checkered transfer caused it   🏁  .  So it was a pickup not a truck.
