The filming, directed by Colin Trevorrow, will take place from June 13 to July 16 in several picturesque locations, including Bangkok, Krabi, Trang, Phang Nga, Phuket, and Chiang Mai. Peabody Posted June 3 Share Posted June 3 I remember when The Hangover #whatever was filmed here. Soi Cowboy was supposed to be the venue for the bar scenes. Cowboy bar owners tried to jackup the price at the last minute, figuring the film company was stuck. Film group said "FU" and immediately moved to Soi 9(?). I happened to wander by the next day, not knowing about the filming and saw "trashed bars", with signage I didn't recognize. Wondered what the hell had happened!
