It is a problem and difficult to digest the cost savings of the SSA.GOV International Operations  pay roll expense account confiscated from our USD tax flooding a metal desk in Manila  command and control of ASIA, from Australia to China...

Reasons?

The majority of USA citizens have bypassed Manila and use their friends and relatives and pre- paid mail forwarding services located inside USA  phone numbers...  There fore do not give a ??? about Manila FBU SSA.GOV inquisitive scattered delayed process of fiduciary duties.

Any person inside the USAS with a business card printed SSA.GOV name and number is not interrogated not inspected not questioned about SSA.GOV payments inside the USA but this is not true living inside a foreign government demanded banking and passport verification every 90 days and then there is the MANILA FBU SSA.GOV interception to generate MANILA pay checks and customer service delays..

what is a fact that USA citizens are already under the command and control of foreign country governments Immigration because the USA passport is good only for a 90 day temporary visa... BUT inside the USA just print your name and SSA.GOV number on a business card that has no bio metrics, finger print, photo identity, integrated circuit chip, laser. inspection every 90 days and go empty a bank account.

The argument is it is 10 times more security scanning of a USA citizen by a foreign government and zero security scanning inside the USA so the news is never give your name and your SSA number to strange people only give it on job applications and medical services and et all... There is no medical services in a foreign country Medicare is void and the money is silently pocketed at SSA.GOV International, further more your bank account demands a valid passport inspection of your identity periodically under foreign government Immigration and financial banking networks describing your  deposits and withdrawals security monitored by your foreign phone...   Where is the BEEF? Why pay Manila for this services to deposit inside your bio metrics passport secured bank ...

Another issue is the licking of stamp's and post mailing 71xx forms to Pennsylvania paid agents  metal desk collection to prove you are alive but rarelly acknowledged delivery after ritual expenses.. What is real fact you are dead as your body parts are examined by the foreign government police who are trained and to report to your USA Embassy from your USA passport you are dead...

Take it or leave it this is a 1776 cry for assembly and to push and deliver to the new SSA.GOV Chairman Mr Omalley, the board the facts of living outside the USA collecting SSA.GOV Benefits. is a very high secured accountable process not the same sloppy money delivery

applied to a business card name and number inside the USA borders.

The SSA.GOV is scheduled out of money 2033 because of OLD GOAT board of directors unaware of life changes over the past 70 years... Mr. Omalley declared he has a difficult job and needs help how to distribute your SSA.GOV Benefits over time...

It is Mr Omalley who expanded the use of internet reduction of sloppy wasted additional pay check, expenses, delays, waste generating paper work alternatives such as Microsoft TEAMS secured and LOGIN.GOV secured  and MySSA accounts that are a step in the right directions...

However these tools are ignored by the OLD GOAT paper chase system and are ineeded and should be applied at all foreign country retired USA citizens to reduce paper work filed forms and dead or alive reports licking stamps... The MAIN CENTRAL PROBLEM IS ZERO FEED BACK FROM USA CITIZENS who lost the spirit of 1776  regards SSA.GOV fight for survival..

What is the problem ALL THESE INTERNET TOOLS ARE LOCKED BLOCKED UNLESS YOU FAKE OR FORGE A USA ADDRESS AND USA PHONE NUMBER ON TOP OF YOUR 2 STEP LOGIN.GOV VERIFICATION ACCOUNT DEMANDED TO ENTER MySSA

THIS IS THE MESSAGE BUT NOT AVAILABLE IN FOREIGN COUNTRY USING FOREIGN COUNTRY IMMIGRATION REGISTERED PASSPORT ADDRESS AND FOREIGN PHONE NUMBER

Received my 7162 today, the 7162 was dated June  06 2024. Over 4 months to reach me here in chiangmai. Going to post office later to mail. Hope it gets processed.

Same as me!  I just received In Chiang Mai yesterday and mailed it off today.  The form says we have 60 days to return the completed form, so I'm not sure if there will be a problem.  I wrote in the remarks block that although the form was dated 6 June, I received it on 23 October.  We'll see I guess.

Same here too. Interestingly,

On 19 June 2024, my wife received her 7162 form dtd Jun. 06, 2024.

We waited a few days to receive mine and it never arrived.  Until yesterday.

However, on 28 June 2024 she emailed hers back to the SSA.  I proceeded to completed a blank form and mailed my 7162 form back to the SSA on 10 August 2024.

Neither of us have received a second 7162 notice for failing to report in response to the first mailing.

I'm going to complete the one I received yesterday and mail it back anyways.

I reached out to the Philippines SSA for assistance in July and they were of no help....

I sure hope the wife also mailed hers 7162 back to Wilkes Barrie as email does not hack it except in those cases typically after 1 November where Manila use to say it's OK to email them a copy since you never received a bar-coded 7162 for completion.  Based on my past personal experience with Manila and 7162 issues, typically only after 1 Nov will Manila assist/respond to an email saying along the line "Hey I never got the initial 7162..help."  Then Manila will email you a blank 7162 for completion and mailing back to Wilkes Barre, and Manila may ask that you send them a copy via email...that's based on my past personal experience from email back and forth with Manila regarding 7162 non-reciept.  BUT NOW in 2024 I can't say if they will get involved until your monthly payment might stop...up until then you may be on your own to ensure you send back the bar-coded 7162 received and if not receiving a bar-coded 7162 then downloading, completing, and mailing back a 7162 which can be downloaded from the Manila website.  See their FAQs at:   https://ph.usembassy.gov/services/social-security/faq/

Regarding the 2nd mailing which occurs in Sep see below SSA weblink and partial snapshot from it.  Basically the 1st mailing goes out in May/June and then for those who didn't respond or didn't respond in time a 2nd mailing goes out sometimes in Sep which means a 2nd mailing should have arrived Thailand by now for those who seem to get SSA mail promptly but for others where the mail seems to get delayed in the postal system(s) then it could arrive a lot later.  But even if already mailing back the initial bar-coded or manually completed copy if you get a 2nd notice be sure to send it back also to play it safe.

I just received the 2nd notice dated 24 Oct.  I'm going to complete and send that one in too.  I assume the SSA will realize it's a duplicate if they receive both.  Better safe than sorry.

Definitely complete/send it back because maybe you first one never made it back...OR, the first did make it to Wilkes-Barre but it arrived after they generated the 2nd mailing.

What part of Thailand are you in?

I just noticed you received the early Jun first  mailing o/a 23 Oct...obviously got delayed big time in the US/Thailand mailing systems....moved like a tortoise...got hung-up somewhere.

But you received the late Oct 24 Oct second mailing o/a 4 Nov....obviously that mailing zipped thru the US/Thailand mailing systems....moved like a hare.

Good ol' postal mail....sometimes it's like a hare....sometimes it's like a tortoise.  But knock on wood (my head) after living at my Bangkok home for over a decade and half mail from the U.S. has always arrived within 9 to 14 calendar days.
