Two Female Drug Users Caught With Ice And A Gun In Central Pattaya

Police Lieutenant Colonel Sutat from Chonburi Provincial Police conducted an undercover operation at the Foodland Supermarket Car Park in Central Pattaya which followed on from a previous drugs arrest made earlier in the night. At 3.30am on Saturday the Officers surrounded a Dark Grey Honda Civic. Inside the vehicle were two women, Khun Ann aged 27 and Khun Supawadee aged 23.

A search of the car uncovered a loaded hand gun and 5.2g of Crystal Methamphetamine known in Thailand as “Ya Ice”. The two female suspects were taken to Pattaya Police Station where they explained that they were waiting for their supplier to exchange the “Ice” which the pair deemed as sub-standard. Further investigations are underway but for now, the pair have been charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm and class 1 drugs offences.
