I do think it's for the Iranian people, along with many other things including oil and trade, but Trump, being the type of man he is, is always looking for admiration , and if that comes from helping others so be it, as it's a good way to receive it, along with feeding his ego. Fear of nuclear is on many minds, and he knows you can't trust Iran's regime, as it's history has proven violence. Uranium can be used for energy, but was that Khomeini's thinking? Ballistic missiles also, knowing they can reach other countries rather easily. What some believe doesn't mean it's true, as there are a lot of Trump and US haters because of his other policies. Many armchair quarterbacks think they know all the answers and even Americans don't know everything that goes on behind the government's doors. Many theories and opinions, but in the long run, if Iran's people benefit from this with democracy, at least one objective was made. Others involve greed, which all wars have. Iranians supplied much of the intel here, so that means it was for the people, along with rewards.
