Putin has been ready for peace talks since the beginning, the side that doesn't want peace it the US,UK and nato, and sheep like you!! the blond bafoon Boris Johnson flew out to kiev back in April 22 to stop negotiations, negotiations that Zelinski was ready to hear..you are the one that has it backward. if Putin wanted Ukraine he'd have taken it, but he didn't.

I’ll refrain from returning the insult, but your response is so out of touch with reality it’s surprising you’re not embarrassed to post it.  He invaded from 3 directions, and you’re claiming he didn’t want to take all of Ukraine… after years of taking pieces of it?  What was he trying to do then?  Why did someone who is so ready for peace from the beginning… invade in the first place?  And continue a war that has costs hundreds of thousands of his countrymen’s lives?

as i said, the war could have ended back in April 2022, but the UK and US stopped the peace negotiations that had been arranged, i believe to be held in Turkey. the US,UK do not want peace. clinton is on record saying the war should be dragged outr as long as poss to drain putins economy! Mitch McConnell said  'Ukraine will fight to the last Ukranian' (something along those lines) the US have no interest in peace, the hostility toward Russia. is decade old! the blood of the dead since April 22 are oin the UK and UK hands. Putin and lavrof have repeatedly said they are will to talk, perhaps change your new channels to something outside the MIC funded msm.

Ukraine has lost more men than russian has.

because i have a different opinion...  you remember the lies about WMDs, anthrax, babies being dragged out of incubators, Assad gassing his own people, to name a few of many all proved lies, but yet again you believe everything you're told without question...the proverb  'fool me once' certainly applies to you (and many on here), i expect your covid response was the same..do as told without asking questions and attack anyone that does!

His feint toward Kiev was an attempt to end the war quickly by convincing Zelensky to take his money and flee to one of his mansions around the world.  It would have worked if the US and then BoJo hadn't convinced Zelensky to stay and fight, to the last Ukrainian.
