Students Arrested For Attempted Snatching

Featured Replies

Two College students were captured by the Pattaya Police for attempting to snatch a bag from a Dutch tourist.

At 1.30 am on 29th July the Pattaya Police were informed by a foreign tourist that two teenagers on a motorbike tried to snatch her bag in Jomtien Beach Road; but she struggled and succeeded in holding on to it and the teenagers fled in the direction to Sukhumvit Road.

Luckily the victim, Miss Marjon Kongaeskz, aged 55, from Holland, could remember the motorbike details, including the license plate number, which made it easier for the police to capture the crooks within a short period of time.

The police arrested the two 16 year old youths in Sukhumvit Soi 91 and brought them back to Pattaya Police Station so that the victim could point them out to make charges.

The boy and tomboy confessed to trying to steal since they needed money to pay for the rent, but didn’t make it far.
