Ok so you fly into Thailand

You get 60 days and one extension for 30 days =90 days

Then you do your 2 allowed border runs

60 days plus one extension 30 days =90 days

and

60 days plus one extension 30 days =90 days

Now your up to 270 days and a tax resident  with no visa

Does your nationality not qualify you for the new 60 days that entered into fotce yesterday at 5pm according to confimed reports in the visa forum?

That's 62 days.

People who were stamped in 60 days got until Sep 12

You're correct on both counts , my mistake , Sept 12 .

So, border runs also allow 60 days?

What remains to be seen is whether you are allowed to extend it at the immigration office. Chiang Rai used to give me one 60 day extension and one 30 day extension on each entry based upon having a dependent child (daughter at university).
