Thailand, in a recent turn of events, saw Prime Minister Paetongtarn coming under the spotlight for unexpected reasons. During an official photo shoot at Government House, PM Paetongtarn and her Cabinet members performed a “mini heart” hand gesture, leading to polarized reactions across social media. The moment took a swift turn when a government official pointed out the inappropriateness of the gesture given their formal attire. Surprised, Paetongtarn quickly lowered her hands. This fleeting incident has sparked a wave of discussions online. On platforms such as Facebook and X, many criticized the young Prime Minister's apparent lack of decorum, especially in her formal capacity. “She should have behaved better than this. She is now the leader of the country, no longer the youngest child in the family,” remarked one user, echoing the sentiments of several others. At 38, Paetongtarn holds the distinction of being the youngest Prime Minister in Thai history. She is also the daughter of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and Khunying Potjaman Na Pombejra. Conversely, her supporters argue for empathy, understanding the immense challenge a young leader faces. “The tasks of governing the country are probably challenging for someone so young. I believe she is a quick learner and has a good team of qualified people around her,” defended a supporter. Another supporter urged critics to depoliticize the issue, suggesting it was an honest mistake quickly rectified. “The PM made just a minor mistake and, once she realised it, she stopped. Either you have a poor memory, are a very poor reader or you like to exaggerate. My guess at this stage is that you just say things without thinking whether they are true and correct or not. Yes, I believe they are inevitable, I think I have said as much. I have never said nor implied they will be enforced, you made that part up. I'm happy however that you think everyone can chill and that it will be a crap shoot/lottery whether or not you get caught, that's just what retirees need in the twilight of advanced years! -

Non immigrant O visa in Bangkok?
You can get it in Thailand or outside. For UK applicants they don't go to the embassy, and no longer even have to send your passport in. -

Do you still see girls in bars which you would consider as girlfriend/wife?
I "met" a girl on Thai Friendly in 2015. Amongst all the chaff, she was very articulate and smart and stood out above all the others. We met for coffee, which turned into lunch but then did not see each other for 6 months (i went back to the UK for summer). Then next a dinner date. It was only 3 weeks after that we "hooked up" and were together for 3 years before she started to mis-behave, in a controlling manner, like my ex-wife. Next lady, met through mutual friends, lasted just over 18 months before going same way. My now GF, I met in a bar 4 years ago. Very smart and loving lady. She tried the controlling <deleted> but I walked, we got back together, she did it again and I walked. Got back together, we are now very happy together and happy. Everyone is different. Even ladies who work in bars are there for reasons. Survival is main reason for many. How many guys here would do what they do? I think age can have quite a lot to do with it. Most of us here are 50+ (I'm now 57). How's that going to work with a 20yr old? Not likely IMO. My ladies mentioned above were; 38, 36 and 39 respectively when met. I secured visas for all of them to visit the UK when we were together with the first, and current visiting 7 times (so far). I observe "girls" in Nana, Soi 6, Pattaya, Cowboy, Patpong, Soi 11, etc. but you never know until meeting the "right one". I met one lady in Hilary 1 earlier this year, her day job on a fragrance counter in Emsphere. It takes all sorts. I intend to stay with my current GF but will not be marrying again though (she was aware from early on). -

House gop push bill that links federal funding to a citizenship check for new voters
The GOP has been beating this dead horse since the 1990s, I suspect it was cooked up by Gingrich or Rove. Now they're spending billions to solve a non-existent problem, and this is the party that is hell-bent on cutting everything else. And anyway if DT gets back into the WH they won't have to worry about ANYBODY'S votes. Trump Declines to Back Away From ‘You Don’t Have to Vote Again’ Line What the Dems should try for right now is to attempt to pass that immigration bill again before the election. If the GOP votes it down again they will have to do a lot of tap dancing to explain why, enough to affect polling.
