At 04:06 on August 2, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center in Pattaya received a report of a person drowning near Pattaya Police Station, Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District. Rescue volunteers were dispatched to the scene immediately.

 

Upon arrival, a large number of tourists were observing the incident. They found a 25-year-old woman, drenched and disoriented after being pulled from the water by a good Samaritan and tourists. She was in a state of inebriation and unconscious. The rescue team provided initial first aid before transporting her to the hospital.

 

A 15-year-old witness, reported seeing the distressed woman sitting alone and crying. He did not know the cause of her distress. She then walked into the sea and attempted to drown herself. Fortunately, a foreign tourist intervened and managed to pull her back to shore. The group provided initial first aid before alerting the authorities, who arrived to offer further assistance.
