Dulcelax

Recommended Posts

I was looking to order a new dose of "Dulcelax (laxative tablets)" but couldn't find a dealer in Lazada or Shopee anymore.

Does anybody where I can order this medicine?
TIA

Lorry is right, it can be harmful if overused.

I recommend PEG 3350, sold under various brand names. A stool softener, can be used long-term.

I recommend yhe Senna tablets you can get in any 7-11 in the section with Thai herbal treatments.

Not for daily use either, but gentler than ducolax.

You should also adjust your diet to get

more fiber, or take a fiber supplement. even just a bowl of oatmeal daily will help.

I started using Dulcolax on order from my THAI Pharmacy.
And it helped me a lot.
Took 1 tablet a 2 or 3 times per month.
But for some dark reason, it was not available in Thailand anymore.
And my last supplier, an Indian from Ebay, did not ship to Thailand anymore.
Tried some other "stool softeners", but with no or poor results.

Got the recommendation of a friend to take "Froza fiber Detox" jelly.
Purchased a monthly dose from Lazada to try it and it worked fine.
But when I wanted to order a new pack, it was impossible to find anywhere and the only similar product was worthless.

Guess that Thailand is taking all the working stuff of the market and replace it with worthless imitations.

Kelloggs All-Bran and Bran Flakes are available on Lazada.

I occasionally use PEG 3350 to help things along. Generic names Macrogol, Miralax, Glycolax etc.

Dulcolax is not a stool softener. It is a stimulant laxative. Generic name is biscodyl and while Dulcolax brand is not available in Thailand there is a locally made equivelent called Biscodyl YSP. Same thing.

The Senna I recommended is also a stimulant laxative  but because it is classified as herbal medicine it can be legally sold outside of pharmacies whereas Biscodyl cannot.

No wonder you don't find it, it's called Dulcolax.

It's bisacodyl with an "a" in the middle.

Dulcolax (with an "o") is avalable in Thailand,  not difficult to find (distributed by DKSH).

Agreed. I'm in Don Meuang and there's 4 pharmacies within walking distance to me where I've obtained it from. 40baht for 10 tabs.

In Korat, Dulcolax is not available anymore.
Neither in Lazada, Shopee or Ebay.
Read the answer from Sheryl.
If you can buy Dulcolax in Bangkok, I will be glad to receive a few blisters from you.
You can send them to my personal address (Thailand).
5 blisters of 10 tabs = 200Baht + pp.
Be sure to send Dulcolax (yellow tabs) and not DulcoFlex (brown tabs).

Went today to the local Pharmacy at Central Plaza, and the Pharmacist told me that the Senna tablets in your picture were sold out, but he gave me a similar product with the same active ingredients and it was a lot cheaper as the product in your picture.

As tomorrow is the weekend, and I don't want to go out with a diarhea, I started with the minimum dose (1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening).
Let's see if it helps.

Here are some pictures of the product I bought today.
PS.: Contrary of your post, it is marked on the flask that it should only be sold by Pharmacy.
