Rasmussen’s final poll was the least accurate of any of the 32 polls. They had the Republicans ahead nationally by one point. Democrats are currently winning the national House vote by 8.6 points. That’s an error of nearly 10 points.

The problem with your statement is that Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania are a lock for Harris, as long as her support doesn't collapse. So there is no way she wins the popular votes but loses those 3 states.

 

I suspect that Harris leaves the Democratic convention with a statistically significant lead over Trump.

 

So, it will be up to Trump to turn it around.

Way off on what?  That the Republicans supported "Any Willing Worker" immigration to break labor - and outsourcing via the removal of tariffs to avoid hiring Americans completely - before the Democrats joined them under Bill Clinton?  See NAFTA and the China in the WTO - though that process started with Reagan (who HATED well-paid labor - why he did the Shamnesty of 1986).
