Although the factory was not operational at the time, police also found hot aluminium bars on the premises.

This factory was similarly inactive with no workers present.

Now there's a surprise.

Both factories empty whilst the police raided them.

Hot means hot as in illegal goods or hot as in heat (freshly cast ingots)?

Really strange that they could form a company and set up such a plant for recycling aluminium dross.

Were they using a thermo-mechanical process or chemical process to recycle the dross.

for eg a dross recycling plant in New Zealand

The Department of Industrial Works had previously ordered the closure of this factory in April for operating illegally, an order that was evidently ignored.

Pol. Col. Arun stated that both factories were suspected to be operated by Chinese nationals. He assured that the police would locate and prosecute those responsible for the illegal activities at the Nakhon Pathom factory.

Force the closure and jail the owners, stop the pussy-footing around.

Mothers day weekend, could have waited until Tuesday when it re-opened.
