This is a survey to try to establish the most commonly used method for foreigners to purchase Land+House in Thailand.

You should have included a mixture of these as well. For example, in spouse's name with 30 year lease. Or, in company name with 30 year lease.

Just my 2c worth...

[EDIT]

Ooops, that would come under "Other", please take one off Thai spouse and add to other.

How about another poll

How many have put the house in wifeys name and then lost it.

A 30y lease , i'ts depends how your wife see it ( how easy she is ,en how she can sell this to her family )

My opinion is ,i'ts her country ,She have to protect you

Maybe whe can do a survey ,how many farangs loosing ther land en home ??

how about adding

How many purchased a condo in their own name to avoid this problem

Well, that would just be silly!!,

It is only the un-educated that have a "problem" with house ownership.

You could also have added - how many people thought they would buy a condo instead but later found out that it didnt exist!!
