Is it just me: Or, have you made the decision to spend your money on Amazon?

It's not the fault of Amazon, of course.

It's the tariff itself that I object to.

Have you never heard of FREE TRADE?

Or, is this a concept you are against.

Where in the world does free trade exist?

No.

I just want the same quality I would get buying from Amazon in the USA, at the same price I would pay buying in the USA.

Amazon does not have a local price and an export price so what are you dribbling on about ?

What....

You want to pay through the nose for lesser quality products????

Then why not move to the US?

SERTA mattress protector is 38 USD in the USA.

USD98 delivered to CM.

No way, Jose...

I would rather sleep on a tatami.

I don't expect, but no need to pay if I order something from & in TH.   Nothing Amazon sells that I need or can't get here, in TH, or via CH, where they probably get or drop ship from, without the extra Amazon fees that will be added on.

And if needs to be returned ... yikes.

Whay would an old guy be needing mattress protector anyway?

Enquiring minds want to know!

Well, it does protect the mattress (expensive) if I spill my coffee (yea, on the bed) while trolling AN.   I do all my trolling laying in bed.   Since the TV / monitor is in the bedroom.

On Amazon you are paying the same price for the same qaulity.

NO.

Not delivered to where I am.

No need for Amazon if stores here would sell same quality at same price.

But, they do not.

So...then....I NO BUY.

I do not need a mattress protector, or whatever.

I will not buy overpriced garbage.

I know what quality is.

I know what quality should cost.

I can just stop buying until the retailers come to their senses.

No skin off my nose.

I will NOT pay through the nose, however.

I will stop buying.

I guess this might help the economy.

Look at what's happened to Japan.

Too many middlemen, maybe.

Nobody wants to stimulate the economy, anymore....?

So....

Point of curiosity....

a.  Were you laying in bed?  If so, who?

b. Were you just lying in bed?  If so, how sad.

There IS a difference, you know....

Always be clear.

Well, the mattress covers from the US will not fit correctly, the mattresses are not the same size.

They can be easily altered.

Labor costs here are very low.

I buy quite a lot of stuff from Amazon...around 2-3k Oz dollars per year. Mainly hardware tools like Knipex and Wera tools and computer gear. I'm a Prime member and everything is shipped for free to Australia, when I go there I pick it up and bring it to Thailand. Had no issues with customs here so far. Same stuff here costs a fortune.

Bed is a lot more comfy than a chair, sitting @ 90-100° as back isn't the best.

a. Me ... that's my feet

b. reading, trolling, talking with daughter, FB, still in CH, and even ordered something on LAZ.

Time to have brekkie and then the dog will take me for my morning walk.
