On August 18, at approximately 04:40, the Sajja Buddha Dhamma Foundation in Kabin Buri District, Prachinburi Province, received a report of a accident on Highway 304. The accident occurred near the U-turn in front of Kabin Crane Company in Kabin Buri District, where a gas truck had lost control and overturned.

Police, Kabin Buri Hospital’s rescue team, and Prachinburi's Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Centre Region 3, along with volunteers from Sajja Rescue Foundation, were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, authorities found a white 22-wheel gas truck overturned after crashing into a streetlight. The truck's trailer license plate was registered in Udon Thani, and the tanker was found to be full of gas, but there were no leaks.

Fire crews and responders stood by, as a second tanker was dispatched to the scene, and the gas was safely and successfully transferred to this tanker. The road remains restricted to one lane, until a crane can be arranged to lift the tanker.

One person, the driver, was found dead at the scene, the body having been thrown from the wreckage of the driver’s cab and was found in the undergrowth between the road lanes. The victim’s identity has not been determined.

The case is under the jurisdiction of Lieutenant Colonel Jaturong Sanguanprasert, the investigating officer from Kabin Buri Police Station.

Does anyone want to bet as to whether he was wearing a seat belt or not?
