david_je Posted August 18, 2024 Posted August 18, 2024 Are there any cheaper alternatives than taking the taxis in the arrivals hall, which seem to start at 150b? I did see a bus stop just outside but someone who was waiting there said no bus had appeared in the last hour. Usually go from airport to Huay Kaew area. And within the city, are there public transport alternatives to the red trucks? 2 1

ricklev Posted August 18, 2024 Posted August 18, 2024 Jeez, people have nothing better to do than insult you. I am not sure of the bus schedule or if the red trucks are still allowed to pick up at the airport itself, but if you walk outside to the main road you can get one that has just dropped off people at the airport. Should be 30 to 50 baht to Huay Kaew. That would be cheapest. Using the Bolt rideshare app from the airport might only be 80-90 baht. 2
