Thailand's former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has stated that he does not need to assume a formal advisory role for the new Prime Minister, his daughter Paetongtarn Shinawatra. According to Thaksin, his daughter can seek his counsel whenever necessary, given their familial relationship.

Lone robber escapes with 200,000 baht in gold from Bangkok shop
