Popular Post Suphawk Posted August 18, 2024 Popular Post Posted August 18, 2024 I'm on my 4th retirement extension. I've used the same Pattaya agency to facilitate my Visa Renewals each year. Now I'm considering moving longer term to another province, but I want to keep renewing my retirement visa with my Pattaya Agency. Has anyone ever tried this or do you always have to deal with the immigration office in the new province you move to? I once went for a month trip to Hua Hin , the trip happened to intersect with my 90 day report dates. So I tried online reporting and it didn't like my address at my hotel. So I went to the immigration office in Blu port mall (Hua Hin) I'm dressed nicely and smile with a polite tone and the female IO wasn't about to help me at all. All she would say to me is "do online or go do in Jomtien office". These people need to be fired or just not deal with customers. In the end I was able to report 90 days online, on this occasion by putting in my previous address. I guess the hotel didn't report my location to immigration. So I'm hesitant to try to deal with another immigration office and would rather let an agency do it. 2 1 1

You don't deal with another immigration office just because you are away. You could have done a 90 report via mail from anywhere in Thailand. Moving forward you can do your extensions using your Pattaya agent. Most likely you will need to attend office with agent. Not ideal. You stated .... "'I'm dressed nicely and smile with a polite tone and the female IO wasn't about to help me at all. All she would say to me is "do online or go do in Jomtien office". zzzzz Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 get ur extension in Pattaya as before File a NEW tm 30 with ur new address in a different province do ur 90 day reports there 1
AndreasHG Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 I am doing both my 90 days reports and VISA yearly renewal at the Thai Immigration Division 1, in the Government Complex in Chaeng Wattana, Bangkok. I only used a private agency when I applied for the retirement VISA for the first time. I handled everything else by myself after that. I often cannot do the 90 days report online but must do it in person at the Immigration office (as a rule, the first 90 days report, after re-entering the Kingdom from any trip overseas, cannot be done online but only in person). I can only praise the Thai Immigration personnel for their helpfulness, kindness and efficiency. 1

You can do the TM47 via mail 15 days prior to due date. 1 1
Popular Post Nip Posted August 19, 2024 Popular Post Posted August 19, 2024 I forward my Visa agent B600 and within a few hours he sends me a photo of my 90 day extension which I print out and stick in my passport. Takes about two minutes. 2 1 1

thailand49 Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 Your agent doesnt have any pull outside of Jomtien reason she told you go back. Pull means he/she paid off IO for your extension at Jomtien. Using agent get a new one where ever you plan to go.🤑

Many folks eg live in Bangkok and use a Pattaya agent for extensions. 2

bigt3116 Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 Guessing you don't have the money in the bank? If so, you are pretty well stuck with the agency you are currently with, wherever you choose to live. 1
brianthainess Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 So you don't have money in the bank ?? what new province ??

He later moved to Jomtien and started using an agent from Pattaya. Does his 90 days too.

The main immigration office is on the mainland in Laem Ngob TRAT. Koh Chang has a sub office for 90 day reports.
