The battle of Stalingrad resulted in 1.1 million Russian casualties, over a period of 6 months and 2 weeks. Given Russia's fighting methods do not seem to have changed appreciably, IMO a figure of 16 K is quite credible.

Did you check lately the map and check the area Russia gained and Ukraine lost? Even since Ukraine got support by British and other tactic specialists they did not make successful attacks. It's a matter of time that Ukraine have to surrender and protect women and children from death.

I don't think you understand surrendering to Putin will result in the genocide of Ukrainians. Putin wants the assets of Ukraine, human beings are just an inconvenience. The model is the same as Stalin used, mass deportations, migrating Russians into the conquered areas, kidnapping children to be re-educated.

 

The false concern you show for women and children is typical of a Kremlin apologist.

If your neighbor captured your living room, and their precondition for talks meant they kept your living room, would you accept?

I suggest you check again. Ukraine has captured a lot of territory in Russia.

 

More to the point, Russia loses 1,000 soldiers a day when they take land.

 

Russian soldiers in Kursk run away when Ukraine attacks. Or they surrender. 

 

Who do you say is winning?

i didn't say anything of the sort, so stop with the lies, i brought up the assets that are rarely mentioned. on the news... you know, like the gas pipeline dispute through Syria...they certainly put a different perspective on the reason for US involvement.... not as if its the first time aye!

The US is helping Ukraine defend it's people against a Russian assault. The Ukrainians don't worry about the motivation of their allies.

 

A German propagandist would have made a similar comment about US support of Britain during the Blitz.

Well, Ukraine captured some flat, plain land .....and lost a lot in the North. In addition... don't forget Crimea .

I did not see any notes by Russia confirming having lost 1000 soldiers in one day.

And what happens around - not in - Kursk we should believe by Ukrainians.

Nevertheless it's a joke to believe that Ukraine could defeat Russia. They will run out of soldiers: end of war in a natural way.

so by scuppering the peace talks in 22, which could have ended the hostilities, the US have now given billions in Aid, which the Ukraine will have to repay...so where do you think that money will come from ?  part of that 12 trillion in minerals by any chance?

You think the Kremlin is going to admit it has lost 1000 troops in one day? Or the true death toll to the Russian people?

 

The Soviet Union fell on the basis of losing 15,000 KIA in Afghanistan over a time frame of 9 years. That's dwarfed by the death toll in Ukraine, in two years.

 

It's only Putin's iron grip on the media that has prevented a revolution already.

 

Each Ukrainian has to kill 6 Russian soldiers for parity. Given the poor training the Russians have, and the bone-headed military doctrine, not impossible.
