I need a stable, high-quality VoIP solution for international business conference calls. Is such a thing even possible here, given that none of the ISPs guarantee international bandwidth?

Anyone have experience, ideas, or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Do a search for VoIP in this forum. Many VoIP solutions have been thoroughly explored, debated, discussed, pitched, panned, and promoted.

With that being said, I like Vonage and have experienced better than 90% reliability with it for the 2.5 years that I have used it in Thailand.

Note: The 10% that was unreliable is partially attributed to the disruption and subsequent detour of the data link when an earthquake severed the undersea communications cable a few month ago.

Not sure if you are based in Thailand. If you are .. maybe a Thai provider can offer better reliability than a foreign based one ? Some local providers can be found here : http://voipthai.blogspot.com/2007/09/so-you-want-voip.html

Many experiences. 10 a day. There are phone numbers (several of them for unrelated simultaneous concalls) for people in Thailand who join the concalls with corporate or whatever they want. They all go through IP, we don't care what the concall provider does, as long as we can talk.

Could it be cheaper or more reliable, we would have known that.

BTW, what do you mean with "Is such a thing even possible here". It is, as anywhere.
