Tropicalevo
So last night, very loud music from a dodgy beach club in Bangrak. The loud music is not unusual from this club, but last night broke all records. I had to close all doors and windows it was so loud and I could still hear it. Bear in mind that I am a few kilometers away. Not next door. But I am in direct line of sight. The other thing was that they usually turn the music down at midnight Not last night. 03:00 still going strong. How come other business/hotels are doing nothing about them? Anyone else out there unhappy with them?
Popular Post bkk6060
Isn't part of the culture? Loud speakers in malls sales reps screaming into the microphone. Loud ear piercing cars, trucks and motorcycles, lung shaking music venues and bars. Did you rent or buy? Big reason I would never buy here pay 5 million b for a place, next thing you know they build a bar complex next door. All could careless about anyone's peaceful life. 1 1
Popular Post khunPer
Probably a wedding party or other kind of important party, things like that happens now and then in Thailand and especially quite often on Samui. Always look on the bright side of life: Be happy you don't live in a villa at Chaweng Noi-hills...👍 1 1
Korat Kiwi
I get to hear the a*hole big trucks on the main road at around 3am. I don't mind trucks and understand they have stuff to cart. What I don't understand is why the have to fit them with those fake turbo fak off valve noise makers. What a bloody racket. Wish the cops would do their job and stop these clowns... more chance of winning lotto.

They have been selling illegal stuff since they opened in 2018. Well known for it. They usually play loud music, but quieten down at midnight. The other night must have been a one-off 'we will make you all deaf' party. Not been that bad before or since. I am just surprised that the hotel next door let it continue. phetphet
Actually, it wasn’t the club you are thinking of on 7th September. Rather the newer, much bigger, Thai owned one, more towards the Mermaid Resort that had their opening party. Holds around 500 people. Unfortunately it is far closer to me than the one you are talking about. As it also has rooms, I am hoping the late night parties won’t be too regular, but NYE might be a big one.
