Hello,

let's say my Non-O extension expires Dec 15th. I can apply up to 45 days early, so let's say I apply for my extension October 5th.

Does the day where I need to have the 800k in my account differ depending on the day when I apply?

Thanks for your help.

OP, correct answer above.

The 800k for 2 months prior and 3 after concerns the date application is made.

The 12 month extension will be from expiry date of current extension.

In your case dec 15, regardless of application date

Thank you very much.

Just to recap: Of course @Pattaya57 is right, 45 days before Dec 15th is in Nov.

So if I apply on November 10th f.e. (extension expiry is Dec 15th), then the 800k must be in the account by Sept 10th. Correct?

It's 3 month "after permission is granted", which can be later than application date; at the immigration office I use it takes about a week or little more to have the "permission granted".

Out of interest which immigration office takes a week to approve 12 month extension.

Think some (maybe Jomitien) require you to return next day.

For info, while I had to return the next day at Jomtien, the extension was stamped on the day of application (so next day pick-up really just for convenience of not hanging around immigration for hours)

Koh Samui is a special case.

Yes, but there are around 6,000 expats living on the island...😉
