Anti-money laundering complaint filed against Prawit Wongsuwon
There was a time I would have been pleased by this, but there is so much political fokkery going on with the Thai courts, I fear the reasons behind it. -

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
I am not opposed to constructive discussion but the recent exchanges were not that, they were continued bickering and disagreement with ten posts per page from you! The threads are intended to not be specific to one country, if posters can't agree or conclude a point, park it and move on for everyone else's sake. -

Latest developments and discussion of recent events in the Ukraine War
Pentagon inspector general: Ukraine is 'job one' for defense oversight https://www.voanews.com/a/pentagon-inspector-general-ukraine-is-job-one-for-defense-oversight/7787995.html?sfnsn=wiwspmo Storch told VOA that the Pentagon is working with Ukraine’s military to ensure that it provides timely and accurate information, and with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s government to fight corruption. He said that in the days immediately following Russia’s full-scale invasion, Ukraine’s armed forces were delinquent in providing information, but that the situation has improved, in part thanks to oversight. While corruption remains endemic in Ukraine, Storch said that Ukraine’s anti-corruption institutions are maturing and that the oversight community is working to ensure that such progress continues. The following has been edited for length and clarity.- 1

Trump Ordered to Pay Damages for Unauthorized Use of Eddy Grant's "Electric Avenue"
This is just my guess why Trump garners more support from the single, less educated and less financially stable men: Many of these men feel very constrained by the boundaries set by polite society. Trump's unconstrained antics make him their idol/hero. The less educated men and those struggling financially feel powerless/ignored. Trump's lifestyle, fame and fortune represents their desires fulfilled.- 1

Foreign Tourists Caught in Intimate Acts on Tuk-Tuk During Traffic Jam
I assume the film/photo from the car was from a concerned netizen, more commonly known as a voyeur. It's a poor image revealing not much really, as its happening in an almost enclosed Phuket tuk tuk only visible from the rear. -

Shingles - Worth the vaccination?
I had it 18 months ago with the vaccine offered to over 70s in the UK just after I left for Thailand! It is not nice and had a lingering post herpetic neuralgia. Nerve pain which was worse than the rash. I recently discovered that research shows that after shingles there is a 30% increase in risk of heart attack. So it is definitely a good idea to get it. I have since had the 1st vaccine dose and will have the second this week. -

Honest Question: How is Trump a 'threat to Democracy'?
As a non-US citizen, the chaos of the presidential election is just surreal. the Dems keep doubling down on their 'threat to democracy' rhetoric which must have had an influence on the two recent attempts on the former Presidents life, but seems to be ignored. As there are many Democrat supporters on here, could someone please explain what the threat to democracy actually is? And please no 'dictator' will abolish all elections, go after his opponents nonsense. Trump was president for four years but did nothing like that at all. Also no russia collusion rubbish, it was Hillary that paid for the Steele dossier. So the question remains, how exactly is Donald Trump a threat to democracy. Please be aware I have no horse in this race, like many around the world I am watching in shock and horror as the most powerful country on the planet seems to be destroying itself, and that's a concern for every (western) citizen. -

Was has nightmares to do with this? However, I might get some if I read more of your comments. Low intelligence has always been a scary chapter to witness.
