Que?

Some people are uneducated and can not spell 5 letter words but I believe it is against forum rules to criticize them.

He doesn’t have a qlue.

Some scams I don’t have a problem with.

Warm regards

I'll bet there will not be a second visit

Why is he even coming to Pattaya? He can have the same thing on every corner in Pakistan, saving himself the flight to Pattaya.

Mr. Farrukh revealed that this was his first time visiting Pattaya, and just a few hours after his arrival, two men, resembling South Asians, approached him while he was strolling along Jomtien Beach.

They struck up a conversation and pretended to be friendly, asking to see his country’s currency notes. While one of them distracted him with small talk, the other secretly emptied his wallet.

After handing the wallet back, the men quickly fled. Sensing something was wrong, Mr. Uzair checked his wallet and discovered that all his money had been stolen. He promptly reported the incident to the police.

the Strange Case of Mr. Farrukh and Mr. Uzair.

No one deserves to be robbed, but yes he was stupid!

Rather "uber-smart" and tricky. According to my experience they always have a bunch of cards up their sleeve. We just don't exactly what was his game, but I'm sure there's something lurking in the shadows.

Except ALCOHOL - may be he was in Pattaya to experience "beer bars"!

Alcohol is not allowed in Pakistan for Muslims. However, if you are non-Muslim you have special license that can be used to buy alchohol. There is no prohibition for non-Muslims. (ref. Google)

They: Where you from?

He:  Pakistan.

They: Oh, let me see the US dollars in your wallet.

A Pakistani tailor was left devastated after being robbed during his first visit to Pattaya, within hours of his arrival.

On September 16th, Mr. Farrukh U, a 33-year-old Pakistani national, filed a complaint with Police Lieutenant Colonel Chonwit Athiphansee of Pattaya City Police Station after thieves tricked him and stole $900 USD (approximately 30,000 THB) from his wallet.

The incident occurred at Jomtien Beach, Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi.

In response, Police Lieutenant Colonel Chonwit Athiphansee coordinated with the local investigation team and tourist police to gather evidence from witnesses and security cameras in the area in hopes of tracking down the perpetrators and bringing them to justice.

If that's what is written on the police report good luck claiming on any travel insurance if he has any. The insurance company would laugh at him for handing his wallet to a total stranger.
