Facebook minimum age?

Had to look it up.

13 is the official limit.

How they check it?

Don't ask me.

Fits well with some news I picked up today.

For Instagram (also 13) they will introduce "teen accounts"

Some countries have their own laws with higher age limits.

Enforcement? Again don't ask me.

Allowing children of 10 years old to post in faceSh@t for friendship (and more) while arresting someone who has the pictures of these children on their hard disk?

Create a heaven for pedophiles?

I thought I did see it all, but apparently NOT.

FaceSh*t and instapedo should be sued for allowing this.

Yes digital ID   they are pushing very hard for this now  and if successful will be the end of internet anonymity and thereafter free speech.

The wet dream of the intelligence agencies and totalitarian regimes.

Face and fingerprint scanner to connect to the internet, register at social media, forums etc .

That would indeed be the end of internet as we know it.

so you signed up with Facebook with digital ID? I didn't

Not yet implemented fortunately.

Against all rules from FB I have an account there with complete random/nonsense data.

I use it for gathering information mainly.

No "socializing".

So, what would all those bad guys do? Maybe look at pictures from advertisement?

For clarification: I searched for "10 year old children in advertising" and that is what came up, together with many other pictures. If some sick guys get horny looking at those pictures, then I can't help it.

My point is, children and pictures of children are everywhere - not just online.
