Bangkok Bank passbook codes
I am having a problem with my bank. There is confusion between me and them and my insurance company - a Thai company. A payment made to the insurance company by the bank has possibly gone astray . As of now everyone is hiding in the bushes and mumbling not me. It seems as if I shall have to sort things out. Cash was moved between my two bank books - savings and savings deposit and then sent onward to as of now an unknown destination. So far I have been unable to find the meaning of the passbook codes and as little English is spoken at my local bank branch I would like to have all of my proverbial ducks in a row before discussing the problem with the two parties involved. I should add that all of this was handled by the bank teller So, can someone please tell me what in simple terms the passbook are telling me with the letters SMT and PWD ? Hopefully one of these will indicate something meaningful. -

Most students here have probably never even heard of the Ig Nobel Prize...after all.... We are existing here in one of the most well-known academic backwaters of the world. another thread trying to come clean by being a monger? Because everyone else doing it? Some people here must struggle really hard with bad conscience. If you abuse other people because you can, then shame on you, but Im sure some do not know the difference of equally exploitation of each other and exploiting someone who is vulnerable. Im sure some here are the ones who feels exploited, and therefor feel its their right to threat those B as they want and can without any consequences. -

Where can I find a very competent watchmaker? Not a battery changer.
I took my automatic watch in because the rotating bezel had become blocked. He was unable to unlock it, but the watch stopped working. I was surprised at the speed with which he returned the watch to me when I went to pick it up, saying that he couldn't do anything about it, that he wouldn't charge me anything, and that I should go away. I think he dropped it on the floor or hit it. I consider it a place to change batteries and little else. -

Banking service???????
I use Bangkok Bank, 'the 800K bank deposit method', and have never made any small deposit on the day of extension. I see the recommendation in several posts to make a small deposit on the extension day and update the book, but I never have. Just do an update only of the book on that day, which shows a balance matching the amount of the 'bank letter', which I get the day before in town. That's worked for me, would it for you is the question. This is for at CW. -

I read it as Lou just trying to keep to the facts and not make stuff up so you can carry on more as you do. Time to pull your head in mate. He (LL) wants to stick to the facts, but he relies upon what has been written in the article as fact, he does not allow for flexibility, interpretation, experience, how poorly the article is written, or how often important facts are missed out from these reports etc... If its not mentioned in the article, then LL will argue to the end of the earth there's no proof. I operate under different guidelines, I'm aware that the articles are often flawed, miss out on facts and may miss pertinent points - we have the benefit of discussion without the burden of proof, we are not lawyers, this is just a discussion forum. When I see a report such as this and see the guy who had the accident wearing dark-tinted glasses in every photo and video, even though its in the middle of the night, I think the assumption is a fair one that he was also driving with those glasses. I agree there is no absolute proof of this - but, I think there is strong argument to consider the likelihood of Tik-Shiro wearing those dark tinted glasses while driving.... I think this combined with window tint led to poorer visibility and perhaps one of the root causes of him not seeing the parked up motorcycle on the side of the road Also note that there is a 1m 'shoulder' on the side of the road - so it would appear that either he (Tik Shiro) was not driving within in his lane, or the motorcyclist has stopped in the lane itself. So.. head wound out or in... or wherever you think it should be.. What do you think ??????? Given the photographs and videos: a) Do you think Tik Shiro wearing dark-tinted glasses while driving ? b) Do you think Tik Shiro put on the dark-tinted glasses only after the incident ? -

I personally don't see it as a binary issue. I live somewhere in between. I follow my own sense of right and wrong. I could not give two <deleted> what you do, but I don't want to know you either. Things change, deal with it. The locals are certainly less tolerant than they were 30 years ago too. -

In some European countries we pay tax and can afford insurance so we do not need private donations, at least until the last decades. But, things are changing slowly here too. Ideal in a healthy society, It should be the government's responsibility to take care of people, by inforcing the people to pay an healthy amount of tax of their income, and the government donates money on behalf of everyone. However, Taylor is know for looking after everyone in her stab, giving the big bonuses and make sure everyone is happy. Se is a true businesswoman, and I think she even gets more popular by doing so, and make more money as well. -
