Thailand's Expats Urged to Register with TRD for Tax, Says Expert
Never done an online tax filing, so I could be wrong on this. But, isn't it the same as plunking numbers down into an Excel spreadsheet? You have to determine what those numbers are -- there's no TurboTax-like software system to keep you on the straight and narrow. If so, certainly a long cry from a human assessment officer looking over your shoulder, as the cyclist maintains. No, TRD says self-assessment is the way things are done. Thus, you have to do all your income assessment considerations, and what TEDA numbers are applicable, and what your tax bill ends up to be. Nobody there to double check. Now, assessment officers are mentioned as getting involved, when somewhere down the road your return is flagged for irregularities. Makes sense -- but not up front, in the self-assessment phase. -

Biden Administration Implements Looser Immigration Policies Ahead of Transition to Trump
No, that is false. Mr Biden’s stimulus did, however, put a rocket under inflation. In April “core” consumer prices, which exclude energy and food, were 13.4% higher than when he came to office. They have risen more than in other g7 countries, and their acceleration coincided with the introduction of Mr Biden’s stimulus. Research suggests that, even by September 2022, the largesse was pushing up core inflation by about four percentage points. https://www.economist.com/leaders/2023/05/11/joe-biden-is-more-responsible-for-high-inflation-than-for-abundant-jobs -

Europe Braces for Escalation: Germany Mobilizes NATO Troops Amid Putin's Nuclear Threats
😂..........So nothing to do a Hitler style tank convoy, heading to Kiev so they could strut around in their jack boots, then, that failed........😂 Seems you forgot the carnage of WWII, where aggressors HAD to be trounced, and were. Japan, 2 big cities flattened, Germany, many cities destroyed, but YOU look at those cities now. Invasions by tyrant 'dictators' should never succeed, never.....😐- 1
