Trump Watches
Surprisingly, like his sneakers, bible and everything else he has tried to grift off, these watch experts are not impressed by the timepieces Trump is trying to flog to his acolytes. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/lifestyle/style/trump-watch-likely-made-in-china-overpriced-1236013728/ -

Trump’s First Day Back: Key Priorities for a Second Term
The US elections are the joke to the rest of the world. All the crude insults from each party to each other is so childish. Grow up and run the election on policies not personalities. Leader of the free world needs to do better. -

Edit - seems the emoji is still there. Odd as I scrolled through the entire list twice and couldn't see it. Come back an hour later and there it is ! -

How many here on the Farang Pub hope to die in Thailand?
I thought that is obvious from my previous post, Thailand will never be my home, I'm just a guest here with no rights, just duties. Home I have free health care and medicine, and on top of that an affordable private health insurance. -

Chris kristofferson pass’s on
https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-country/kris-kristofferson-dead-1107074/ Good article. Hadn't thought about him in a long time, but there went my morning. Major talent, unusual and unlikely. “What a great loss, what a great writer. What a great actor, what a great friend,” Dolly Parton said in a statement. “I will always love you.” He quietly announced his retirement from touring, recording, and acting in January 2021. In Hawaii. In 1970, Kristofferson bought property in Hana, a secluded town on the Hawaiian island of Maui. I've driven that insane little road leading way out to Hana and spent a night there. Very special place. I know he enjoyed his time there. Kristofferson and Joplin shared her house in Mill Valley, California, for a while, where jam sessions with fellow musicians, actors, and others were commonplace. (He played the Isle of Wight Festival in the summer of 1970, sharing the final day’s bill with Jimi Hendrix, who would die from an overdose just a few weeks later.) Inspired by both Larry Gatlin’s “Help Me” and an altar call while visiting a church with country singer Connie Smith at a desperately low point in his life, Kristofferson’s “Why Me” reached Number One on the country chart and spent 19 weeks on the pop survey as well, becoming one of the bestselling singles of the year. “I don’t think I’m that good a singer,” he told Rolling Stone. “I can’t think of a song that I’ve written that I don’t like the way somebody else sings it better.” His wife, who really helped in latter years: She balked at calling herself Kristofferson’s manager though. “He’s unmanageable. You can’t manage him,” she told Rolling Stone. “Even if someone tells him to have a good day, he’ll say, ‘Don’t tell me what to do.'” -

I Voted Today
Nonsense. Hillary lost because of a “vast right wing conspiracy” lasting since early 1990s causing a certain proportion of likely Hillary voters to stay home. And others, the most guilty, who wasted their votes on Dr. Jill Stein Nothing to do with these hard-hat types -

Is street food good for you? Old rancid oil. Cheap oil. Food dripping with oil.
Do you realize that not all streetfood is fried or dripping in oil ? What about those rice with topping restaurants or noodle soup of any kind? -

How many here on the Farang Pub hope to die in Thailand?
I don't want to die on foreign soil. I want a proper Catholic funeral. I don't want a Buddhist ceremony or a foreign language ceremony (although any religious ceremony is better then nothing). -

Thailand faces escalating heart and cardiovascular disease crisis
So sad. I know several Thais going through similar predicaments, suffering in silence. But I see hundreds of comments of vax-injured Thais on social media which indicate deep bitterness towards their employers and government. -
