Is street food good for you? Old rancid oil. Cheap oil. Food dripping with oil.
Do you think fried street food is healthy?

Ukraine ... Enlighten yourself
That's a big part of it and Ukraine is more vulnerable because of much lower population and the threat of Putin sympathetic fascists taking power in the U.S., France, and Germany. However, there is more to it than that and that is the internal situation in Russia. Interest rates pushing 20 percent, massive inflation on many products including food, budgets spending absurd amounts on the war and cutting everything else, failure to maintain basic infrastructure such as elevators, continues success of Ukraine to hit strategic targets in Russia even while being irrationally restrained by the west. For cultural reasons, it's not reasonable to expect masses of regular Russian people to storm the Kremlin. HOWEVER, with each passing day as the war hits home in Russia more and more the chances of some kind of internal coup against Putin from increases. Also such events as Ukraine finally destroying the Kerch bridge will add to the morale pressure for such a result. A new government won't be a liberal democracy, but it could potentially mean giving up the war and having Putin to blame, because they definitely need a target to blame. Not making specific predictions but a Ukraine win does not need to be purely military one as that is indeed highly unlikely.- 1

Facebook Video Sparks Cleanup at Pattaya's Abandoned Waterfront Condo
A viral Facebook post showing an object being thrown from the infamous Waterfront condo in Pattaya has led to a flurry of activity at the site. The clip, posted on September 30th, captured a long, white object being hurled from the roughly 20th floor of the 53-storey abandoned building near Bali Hai Pier. Reporters from The Pattaya News responded swiftly, arriving to find workers removing iron and aluminium bars from the structure. Workers were acting under the directive of their boss to clean up, as theft had riddled the site over the years. Mr. Pandawat Pimskul, a 72-year-old lawyer representing Bali Hai Co., Ltd., explained that the once-luxury condo has been marred by legal disputes since its halt in 2008. Despite various court-ordered demolition mandates, lawsuits have stalled any progress, leaving the building an eyesore and a magnet for thieves and squatters. Mr. Pandawat emphasised the urgency of the cleanup, stressing the potential dangers posed by the upcoming rainy season. The lawyer reassured that efforts are underway to minimise risks to the surrounding community, reported The Pattaya News. Photo: The Pattaya News -- 2024-10-01 -

How will this bill demand Sanctuary Cities cooperate with the ruling if passed?
Why don't you try not continuing to repeat the same already debunked nonsense claims: Fact check: To attack Harris, Trump falsely describes new stats on immigrants and homicide September 29, 2024 "Washington (CNN) — Former President Donald Trump is wildly distorting new statistics on immigration and crime to attack Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump falsely claimed Friday and Saturday that the statistics are specifically about criminal offenders who entered the US during the Biden-Harris administration; in reality, the figures are about offenders who entered the US over multiple decades, including during the Trump administration. And Trump falsely claimed that the statistics are specifically about people who are now living freely in the US; the figures actually include people who are currently in jails and prisons serving criminal sentences." [emphasis added] ... The statistics have been deployed by Trump and various Republican lawmakers and right-wing commentators as alarming evidence of Harris’ supposed mismanagement of immigration policy. But in addition to exaggerating her role on the file — she was never actually “border czar” — much of the chatter has inaccurately described what the statistics show. https://www.cnn.com/2024/09/29/politics/fact-check-trump-harris-immigrants-homicide/index.html -

Thai Parliament Set to Decide on Controversial Liquor Bill Today File photo for reference only The opposition People’s Party eagerly awaits Parliament's decision on its "progressive liquor bill" today. Thai Parliament Set to Decide on Controversial Liquor Bill Today
The opposition People’s Party eagerly awaits Parliament's decision on its "progressive liquor bill" today. This bill, a key election promise by the reformist Future Forward Party in 2019, aims to liberalise Thailand’s alcohol market. Future Forward, having evolved into the Move Forward Party, was blocked from forming the government in 2023 and eventually dissolved. Its members have now regrouped under the People’s Party banner. The bill is up against two other proposals from the ruling Pheu Thai Party and its coalition partner, the United Thai Nation Party. Parliament’s decision to read each bill individually, rather than together, has heightened concerns that government MPs will oppose the People’s Party’s initiative. Taopiphop Limjittrakorn of the People’s Party, who previously faced legal trouble for operating a craft beer business without a licence, champions the bill. His proposal includes controversial provisions allowing individuals to brew liquor or beer for personal use without permitting. “The certification is for supervisory purposes,” counters Pheu Thai deputy spokesman Chanin Rungtanakiat, who cites public health concerns. Recent poisoning incidents from homemade brews underscore the risks involved. While recent legal changes have somewhat liberalised brewing, the People’s Party argues that these only superficially ease the restrictions, maintaining barriers for small-scale producers. With Thailand's alcohol market predominantly controlled by seven corporations, the bill advocates for breaking this oligopoly and supporting grassroots economies. Today's parliamentary vote will determine whether the People’s Party bill clears this significant hurdle, shaping the future of Thailand's alcohol industry. BREAKING NEWS School Bus Fire Claims Multiple Lives and Injures Young Students in Rangsit
A Thai bus driver who knows what the consequences will be if he stayed at the scene. Remember he is just a lowly employee of the company, has no say in operational and safety issues and earns a few hundred baht per day but when something like this happens then a scapegoat is needed, and the driver knows it.- 2

Ukraine ... Enlighten yourself
The Ukrainian war is a war of attrition, with Russia, North Korea and Iran supplying one side, and Ukraine, Europe, Canada and America supplying the other. When one side cannot supply itself, the war is over. Which side will run out first?
