Where to buy Kefir grains ?

Featured Replies

To my great disappointment I left my 3 yr old milk Kefir grains in the UK by mistake.

I am now in Thailand for 6 months and would like to start another culture.

Can anyone recommend a supplier of a good quality product that's local, or an online place that ships from abroad?

LAZ ... where I got mine, 20g

Thanks 👍

If you're in Chiang Mai, Aden Health food store use to give them away if you asked.

Thanks for the replies.

I'm in BKK and have ordered off Lazada. Delivery only took about 36 hours !

I came to the conclusion that any quality concerns regarding the product were unlikely to be addressed and for 5 months of use (until I get back to the uk) there was no need to overthink the issue.

Setting up the brew now. 🙂

You can try checking out local health food stores or farmers' markets; they sometimes have them fresh. If you prefer online, Amazon usually has a decent selection, and I've had good luck with a place called "Kefir Grains" that ships internationally.

Or use a local vendor on LAZ or Shopee.  Where I bought mine :coffee1:

Or I'll give you some if you live near me.  Just stuck 100gr in the freezer, yesterday.

I'd rather stay away from wannabe microbiologists in TH. That is just wrong
