Prime Minister in Tears Over Tragic Bangkok School Bus Fire
more than harsh...just like her, I have a couple of youngsters, though no where near as young as those students - closer to the teachers probably in age - but even at 77 years of age, I could only imagine the feeling of the parents of these kids. My Thai wife has alway s forbid our daughter to ride those tour buses for school trip - so instead she flew with the other 1-3 students whose parents felt the same to where ever the class was going. 54 year buses that have been in use on these roads and drivers. After the police investigation of this particular bus - from inside the bus by the concentration of bodies by the emergency doors but unable to open them - should have been automatic or easy to open from inside or outside but the driver couldn't seem to get the fire extinguisher going so he just fled the scene, I feel for those parents and other kids. -

Auto approval is history since the new System was introduced. Waiting time till it get approved is different from Office to Office, what I read is between some hours only up to rejected on the last possible day. I'm using Hua Hin Immigration Office, in the past it has taken two days only but meanwhile a minimum of 7 days. -

Fun & games at Bangkok Airport
Both airports are listed as "Bangkok" on international flights to Thailand, whether terminating at BKK or DMK. So in my book both are Bangkok Airport, for example here in Siem Reap (SAI) Thai flights to BKK are shown as Bangkok and Air Asia to DMK also shown as Bangkok. No further comment from me. -

This idea that the MSM is left-leaning is hardly supported by the evidence. In the UK, the Sun, Express, Mail and Telegraph are all right-of-centre with only the Mirror and Guardian on the left. I can't claim to know to know that much about newspapers in Europe as a whole but I do not from my time in Belgium that, at least, two of the major dailies are centre-right , namely 'Le Soir' and 'La Libre Belgique'. Wrt the inconsistency in labelling of 'far-right' and 'far-left', it appears that some posters are suffering from selective memory loss. It wasn't that long ago when Corbyn was Labour leader, and there wasn't a day that went by without there being a warning about him being a 'far-left, Marxist radical' who was a danger to society. -

Thanks for the history lesson. I did not know all of that. In my home country, the USA, at first, only citizens who were White landowners could vote. Eventually, and over a long period of time, the restrictions were reduced to all citizens of all races, of all genders, over 18, with no regard to wealth, and were registered to vote. Even citizens who have been convicted of a felony after being released from prison are eligible to vote in about half of the states. So, if a recent immigrant is granted citizenship, they should be allowed to register to vote. TO NOT DO SO would be a breach of democracy. You can read my opinion about the US Electoral College written in 2016 here: Rung & Bill: US Electoral College - Opinion (billsmart.com) And, yes, the Democrats are doing things to increase the number of voters who would be most favorable to them, just as the Republicans are doing things to decrease the number of voters in the hope of retaining their lead in the swing states. A voting population that favors Democrats is not a threat to democracy, and neither is one that favors Republicans. What threatens democracy is how the laws of the various states are enacted to prevent or discourage voting. -

Pros and cons of using an agent for the 800k
There is an actual "exemption" to the 800k rule that can be applied by a high-level officer. It is 100% legit. Getting that officer to make the exemption is where it becomes questionable.
