That's true but that's different. Schwab is a brokerage not a bank for one thing. And you have to apply through their international division, which only handles clients who live outside the US. You can't apply for a regular Schwab account. You can get a brokerage account at Interactive Brokers as well. But neither one is going to issue you a credit card. To get a credit card, you have to in principle be a permanent resident of the US (or so I have been told). Citibank offers Global Executive Banking, which allows you to live overseas and have a foreign phone number. But again this is a special division of Citibank that focuses on global clients. So there are exceptions obviously but in principle most banks and brokerages won't deal with people who live abroad. -

Permit me to doubt Trump has had any sex for years. Most pundits seem to think he and Melania have had separate bedrooms for a long time. Haven't you noticed how Trump always seems to be scowling and angry? IME a guy that's getting well laid doesn't look like that. -

1 to 1.5% in the entire population of people getting cataract surgery. However I've got extreme myopia (over -10 diopter) and I've been told by ophthalmologists that I have tissue thin retinas. So, I am very concerned about retinal detachment. -

Is it worth to run short term rentals in Thailand ?
You would have a hard time finding long-term leases that allow subletting of the property. You cannot work in Thailand, including meet/greet customers, cleaning etc. And the big one, Airbnb is illegal in Thailand, for stays under one month. Also, Airbnb works where accommodations are in short supply and expensive. There are 1,000s of great cheap hotels, resorts, in Thailand, pretty much negating any demand for Airbnb. -
