The incident occurred on the afternoon of October 2, when a train traveling from Aranyaprathet to Bangkok collided with a motorcycle belonging to an ice cream vendor, resulting in the death of the rider, a foreign national, at the scene. The incident took place near the railway tracks in Moo 1, Nong Saeng Subdistrict, Prachantakham District, Prachinburi Province.

At 14:00 Police Lieutenant Thanayot Theeraniman, an investigator at Prachantakham Police Station, received a report from the local radio centre regarding the collision. The accident involved a motorcycle and a train, with one foreign national killed at the scene.

Upon arrival, authorities found a white and black Honda Wave 110i motorcycle, registration number from Prachinburi, split in two due to the impact. The body had been thrown about 25 down an embankment. The train had not stopped and continued it’s journey, possibly unaware of the collision.

The deceased was identified as an Indian national who worked as an ice cream vendor, frequently selling in villages around the Prachantakham District.

Further investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the incident, as the crossing has both warning lights and barriers.

Picture and video from responders.

This is the second time in the last couple of months where it was reported that Indian "nationals" were working - selling food from carts.

Last time it was about a fight between different "Indian nationals" selling food from carts. This time it's an ice cream vendor.

I must have missed the announcement that made it legal for foreigners to work without a work permit or Visa, in jobs supposedly "reserved" for Thais.

Because neither article said a whisper about them working illegally and as we know, catching foreigners working illegally - or overstaying their Visas, is priority one for the BiB.

Please show some respect.

The article is about someone loosing their life.

Not work permits.

i see nothing wrong in that question.  taking into consideration how regulated it is to get and keep a work permit, i am just as curious.
