In a notable incident in Phuket, authorities have charged a local employer for illegally hiring a Sri Lankan national, K. Piyaralala, on a construction site in Wichit without the necessary work permits. Detectives detained Piyaralala while he was working on a house extension at Ao Kham Beach on Wednesday, 9th October.
