Uni was great fun, loads of skirt etc... coming here was also loads of fun.... but when the only bars you end up at are the 'pink pussy cat' (or some such name) its going to be difficult to meet regular women. Thus... making good male Thai friends opened up doors difficult to imagine from a 'meeting a woman' perspective... and certainly not living in central Pattaya or Patong also helped to avoid 'ending up' with an occupatinal-farang-hunter.... -

No bother at all - mate. IMO you are the one who has a very distorted view of the facts, because just like all fanatic Dems, you just throw insults 'ad hominem' when trying to debate an issue. Ad Hominem That means arguing in a way that is directed personally against a person rather than the position they are maintaining and the opinions they are expressing. It was when I noticed how personally insulting all the comments were about Reagan, and yet he achieved so much as a POTUS, that I realised there was something fundamentally wrong with left wing ideologues - they have no facts - just insults - like a teenager denied something. The Dems political 'message' is based on feelings and 'social issues', and what they do is play to those feelings - especially by constant lies and distortions against the political leader of GOP. Do you recall how many years ago Elon Musk was left wing and the media loved him. That same guy realised (like many others do) that something was very wrong with the Dems - and now they hate him. The Dems take personal positions and attacks against their opponents - and they hate Trump for many reasons, and one of them is that he fires that straight back at them. But lets not debate in any detail because all my facts will be trumped by your feelings, and as Shaprio said - Facts do not care about your Feelings (same as me about yours). -

The biggest item of American influence is access to its markets. Thailand has been given too much of a free run there. It should stop, now. Thailand has been spitting in the face of the US ever since Covid, when Chinese vaccines got the red carpet treatment and the PM in attendance, while US vaccines arrived on a courier flight in the middle of the night and were met with a forklift. That is abominable US policy, to just take it off a dinky country like Thailand. Like I say, shift everything to the Philippines. -

You must be very very smart if you have the mental capacity of all the world's supercomputing technology to calculate with no uncertainty that a warmer atmosphere means it can absorb more water leading to widespread and destructive flooding - how about if increased water in the atmosphere means that more of the sun's ray get reflected leading to global cooling or more rainfall leads to more growth in vegetation therefore a massive increase in CO2 absorption leading to global cooling or an infinite number of other possibilities? -

Cons: Need BLS investment account. Need be able read Thai language. (Recent changes give english language support) Fee based investment/portfolio tracking tools I have and still use: 1) Fund manager https://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/ - I've used this program now for > 14yrs now to track my USD, THB, CAD securities/equities, bonds, GIC, from the various brokerage accounts. Pros: Does everything: equity, bonds, options, cash accounts ... etc. Active speedy technical support via forum. Complete video, html tutorials. Good broker & institution interfaces. Currency support, custom reports, ROI, TWR, adjusted cost base tracking. Allows for pulling historic data from many sources around the world. If your broker is not interface supported, the program allows for importing of transactions via cvs file downloaded from your broker. Cons: Requires 1 time fee for license.
