According to what i read, the trend of violent crime is down.

 

The US is 2.5% inflation, Australia is 3.8%. Quit whining.

 

If the US did not have cheap immigrant labor, the food on the tables of all Americans would be considerably dearer.

 

IIRC there was a bipartisan agreement to control immigration, which Trump torpedoed because he wanted to have it as an election issue.

Wow, you read a graph somewhere showing how ideal the US is. How many millions of migrants were released into Australia in the past 3.5 yrs?? I don't comment on Australia even though I've been to Darwin several times, Gladstone, Perth, Brisbane. Doesn't mean I know about Australia.

Of course it does not, you have only been in coastal cities. That's like me saying i know America from visiting Los Angeles and Boston, nothing in between.

 

Let's see - LA, Denver, Chicago, NY, Connecticut, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco, Cleveland, New Orleans, Atlantic City, Pittsburgh, San Antonio - is that enough for me to say I have some experience of the US?

 

I am not saying America is ideal. However, it's a lot better off than many other nations.

 

A record 1.1 million migrants entered Australia in 2023 -2024, on an existing population of 27 million. You have a population of 330 million. Again, quit whining.
