Yes, there is substantial evidence that Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. presidential election with the goal of assisting Donald Trump. This evidence has been outlined in several government reports, investigations, and intelligence assessments. The most notable findings come from the U.S. Intelligence Community, the Mueller Report, and the Senate Intelligence Committee’s bipartisan report. Key Findings on Russian Interference: 1. U.S. Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) - January 2017: The U.S. intelligence agencies (CIA, FBI, NSA) released a joint assessment concluding with high confidence that Russia, under the direction of President Vladimir Putin, interfered in the 2016 election to undermine confidence in the democratic process, harm Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and help Donald Trump win. They cited: • Cyberattacks on Democratic targets: Russian hackers, primarily from the group known as Fancy Bear (linked to Russia’s military intelligence, the GRU), hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, which were then leaked to the public through platforms like WikiLeaks. • Social media disinformation: Russia’s Internet Research Agency (IRA) engaged in a wide-ranging social media campaign to spread disinformation, promote divisive content, and support Trump’s candidacy while attacking Clinton. 2. The Mueller Report - April 2019: Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation detailed two main efforts by Russia to influence the 2016 election: • Hacking and leaking operations: The GRU hacked Democratic emails, which were then strategically released to hurt Clinton and help Trump. • Social media manipulation: The Internet Research Agency ran thousands of fake social media accounts and groups to spread pro-Trump, anti-Clinton messaging, aiming to exacerbate political and social divisions in the U.S. However, the report did not establish a criminal conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia, though it did document multiple contacts between Trump associates and individuals linked to Russia. The report also outlined instances where Trump campaign officials sought to benefit from Russia’s actions, such as Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Russian lawyer promising “dirt” on Clinton. 3. Senate Intelligence Committee Report - 2020: A five-volume report by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee largely confirmed the findings of the intelligence community and Mueller. It highlighted Russia’s interference and pointed out the Kremlin’s intent to assist Trump. It also described the Trump campaign’s willingness to accept and exploit the foreign assistance, though it stopped short of concluding there was an explicit agreement (conspiracy) between the campaign and Russia. The committee report emphasized the role of Paul Manafort, Trump’s campaign chairman, who had extensive connections to Russian-aligned individuals. Manafort provided internal campaign polling data to a Russian intelligence officer, Konstantin Kilimnik, which raised significant concerns about potential coordination. Conclusion: While there is substantial evidence that Russia interfered in the 2016 election with the intent to help Donald Trump, the investigations did not establish that the Trump campaign criminally conspired with Russia. The interference took several forms, including cyberattacks, the release of stolen emails, and a vast disinformation campaign. The fact that the Trump campaign sought to benefit from these actions, though not proven to be a criminal conspiracy, has been a subject of ongoing political and legal debate. -

As I recall, the GBD was issued before we had a working vaccine and I did believe in it to some extent at the time because it seemed the most pragmatic route to follow. However once we got the vaccines, then I chose to take them anyway, so relinquished my belief in the GBD.- 1

The committee laid out plans for new traffic signs with clear colour indicators—white, red, and yellow zones—to delineate parking permissions and restrictions. By implementing such measures, they aim to reduce traffic bottlenecks and improve road safety for residents and tourists alike. A consensus was reached on trialing the new traffic regulations, including penalties for breaches, with an on-site inspection scheduled for 21st October, to verify practical applications of these initiatives. This inspection intends to ensure the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed traffic management solutions. Additionally, the discussions ventured into plans for the forthcoming 2024 parking regulation ordinance. To efficiently roll out these changes, the Operations Division of the City Council has been directed to liaise with departments such as Traffic and Transport, City Administration, Revenue Development, and the Tourism and Sports Department. Their collective endeavour is aimed at raising public awareness and securing adherence to the new systems. Staying Beyond Thailand Privilege Visa Expiry
My 5-year Thailand Privilege visa (formally Thailand Elite visa) expires on 03/01/2025, but because my last arrival in Thailand was 3rd September, my permission-of-stay stamp is until 2/09/2025. Based on this and on my research before I originally paid for this visa, I'd understood I could stay in Thailand without issue until 2/09/2025. That's exactly 8 months after my visa expires. But I thought I'd double check with the Thailand Privilege Member Contact Centre first. This is the response I received: To be honest, I don't trust anything I'm told by the staff in the office as I've been told so many conflicting and wrong things over the years. It's not always their fault, as there's so much confusion and wrong information put out by immigration departments and officials. So, can anyone else with similar circumstances confirm whether I can stay in Thailand until 2/09/2025? I've also read of some people getting reentry permits in their "6th year". is this still possible? If so, how and where? Many thanks in advance for any help you can offer. -
